One subject of the present invention is a device (1) for taking absolute measurements remotely of the radiative flux (21) of an energy source (2), which is able to have a response time lower than 10 ns in dynamic regime. The device (1) according to the invention comprises a transparent substrate (3) and a photothermal transducer (4). The transducer (4) combines an absorbing material (41) consisting of an opaque carpet of carbon nanotubes that is supported on its back side (412) by the substrate (3), an achromatic optical device (42) and a fast infrared detector (43). Another subject of the present invention is a method for taking measurements remotely of the radiative flux of a source in dynamic regime employing the device according to the invention.
