Provided is a water inlet device capable of receiving a detergent. A main passage (3-3) in communication with a water inlet (3-2) is arranged in an upper portion of a water inlet container (3). The main passage (3-3) is in series communication with a Venturi tube (2). The upper portion of the water inlet container (3) is further provided with a liquid discharge passage (3-9), a downspout (3-6) in communication with a rinsing water outlet (3-11), a rinsing water passage (3-5) in communication with the downspout (3-6), an upper liquid opening (3-7) in communication with a liquid feed opening (3-12), and a liquid feed passage (3-8) in communication with the upper liquid opening (3-7). A main body (5) of a pump is disposed in the water inlet container (3). A pump inlet (5-1) and a pump outlet (5-2) are located on the upper portion of the water inlet container (3) and are in communication with the liquid feed passage (3-8) and the liquid discharge passage (3-9), respectively. A pump motor (5') is fixed to an exterior of the water inlet container (3). Water does not leak from the device easily, and water leakage from a pump does not cause damage to a motor and result in flooding.
