Provided are an input device, an electronic apparatus, and an electronic apparatus input method that are user friendly and can suppress erroneous input while achieving non-contact operation. Also provided is an input program for the input device, the electronic apparatus, and the electronic apparatus input method. According to the present invention, when a detection device has detected that an indicator has moved forward in a specific direction within a detection area, a control device decides on input content that corresponds to the movement forward in the specific direction and, when the detection device has continued to detect movement of the indicator within the detection area, decides on input content that corresponds to the direction of the movement. When the detection device has detected that the indicator has moved backward, i.e., opposite forward, in the specific direction within the detection area, the control device decides on input content that corresponds to the movement backward in the specific direction and, during a prescribed time period, even when the detection device detects that the indicator has moved forward in the specific direction within the detection area, does not use the output of the detection device in deciding input content.
