The present invention provides an Internet of things device for expressing a notification message of a smart terminal using a color or a pattern of light, the device comprising: a wireless communication module for receiving a notification event for a text message or a call reception from a smart terminal using Bluetooth low energy (BLE); a control unit for receiving the notification event through the wireless communication module, and displaying the notification event by a method of controlling light of the LED module; a battery module for supplying power; and a housing for containing the wireless communication module, a lighting module, the control unit, and the battery module.
