A multi-frequency band transceiver, and a method for transmitting and receiving a multi-frequency band radio-frequency signal. The multi-frequency band transceiver comprises: a transceiving antenna, configured to receive an uplink multi-frequency band radio-frequency signal sent by a mobile station, transfer same to a transceiving duplexer module, and transmit a downlink multi-frequency band radio-frequency signal; the transceiving duplexer module, configured to send the uplink multi-frequency band radio-frequency signal after removal of an out-of-band interference signal or a spurious signal by filtration to a receiver, and transfer the downlink multi-frequency band radio-frequency signal after removal of an out-of-band interference signal or a spurious signal by filtration to the transceiving antenna; the receiver, configured to perform low-noise power amplification on the filtered uplink multi-frequency band radio-frequency signal, and divide the uplink multi-frequency band radio-frequency signal for which the low-noise power amplification is completed into multiple paths of single-frequency band radio-frequency signals; and a transmitter, configured to combine multiple paths of downlink single-frequency band signals sent by a base station and perform power amplification on same, and send same to the transceiving duplexer module. The embodiments of the present invention simplify the design of a multi-frequency band transceiver.
