Provided is a device for examining air quality, comprising: a detachable sensor assembly; and a base connected with the detachable sensor assembly. The detachable sensor assembly is configured to collect air quality index data acquired by one or more air quality sensors, and to generate air quality data according to the index data. The base is configured to receive the air quality data transmitted by the detachable sensor assembly, and to upload, via a network, the air quality data and a corresponding base identifier to a server. Also provided are a method for processing air quality data and a server.
