METHOD FOR TREATING STEM CELLS FROM THE PULP OF DECIDUOUS TEETH WITH SUBSEQUENT CRYOPRESERVATION AND UNFREEZING

A method for treating (harvesting, packaging, transporting, processing and quality control) stem cells from the pulp of deciduous teeth, which are subsequently cryopreserved and unfrozen, relates to the method for harvesting stem cells (2) from the pulp of deciduous teeth for freezing and storing, including the sequence of procedures from harvesting the deciduous teeth to the storage of the stem cells (2) in conditions favourable for their use whenever necessary. In order to implement the process, a harvesting kit has been developed, allowing dentists to carry out the harvest in their own surgery according to technical protocols and within the pre-established time limits for shipment, the so-called R-Cryo kit, offering another possible protocol including the harvest, storage and subsequent unfreezing of the stem cells (2) from deciduous pulp for use in cell and genetic therapies.
