A seeking system for idle freight space in a warehouse relates to the technical field of storage operation. The system comprises: a background server, a mobile terminal, a guide card, a management terminal and a first Bluetooth electronic tag, arranged in the position of an entrance/exit of the warehouse, a second Bluetooth electronic tag, arranged in the position of a vehicle walking passage and used for correcting the position of a vehicle, and a third Bluetooth electronic tag, arranged in the position of freight space, the mobile terminal being provided with a map module for storing warehouse map information, and the guide card being internally provided with a gyroscope, an acceleration meter, and a magnetic sensor. The system can be applied to effectively seek idle freight space in a warehouse.
