Disclosed in the present application are a cross-screen interaction method and device, a server, and a terminal device. The method comprises: code and modulate an interaction content identifier, and generate a first audio signal not capable of being perceived by human auditory sense; superimpose the first audio signal and a second audio signal of video content, and send the video content superimposed with the audio to a display device for being played; and receive a code of the interaction content identifier sent after a terminal device detects the first audio signal, send interaction content corresponding to the code to the terminal device, and the terminal device displays the interaction content. Interaction content and video content are separated, so that the interaction content does not occupy resources of a display device and does not affect the appreciation of the video content by a user, thereby helping to improve the willingness and the enthusiasm of participation of the user in interaction.
