A floating-type wave power generation apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a buoyant body moving up and down due to the force of the waves while floating on the ocean surface; a wave power generation unit installed on a marine structure and linked by a cable to the buoyant body in a direction perpendicular to the direction of vertical movement thereof so as to convert the kinetic energy of the buoyant body to electrical energy; and a support roller, rotatably installed on the marine structure and upwardly supporting the cable, for converting the vertical kinetic energy of the buoyant body to horizontal kinetic energy and transferring same to the wave power generation unit.
