Provided are a module and method for solving matrix triangular decomposition on the basis of improved bitwise substitution; also provided is a device using said module to perform signal processing. The module comprises: a boundary-element obtaining unit, an internal-element obtaining unit, an upper triangular matrix decomposition unit and a lower triangular matrix decomposition unit; the boundary-element obtaining unit is used for obtaining a boundary element of a reduced coefficient matrix of a to-be-decomposed matrix; the internal-element obtaining unit is used for obtaining an internal element of a reduced coefficient matrix of a to-be-decomposed matrix; the reduced coefficient matrix is thus obtained; the upper triangular matrix decomposition unit is used for decomposing the upper triangular matrix of the to-be-decomposed matrix; the lower triangular matrix decomposition unit is used for decomposing the lower triangular matrix of the to-be-decomposed matrix. The described module and method may be used to unify the computation forms for upper and lower triangular decomposition of the matrix, optimizing the parallelization of decomposition computations, and compressing the storage space required for computations.
