Provided are a blue light harm-reducing device and method thereof, comprising: a blue light source (11) and a control module (1); wherein the control module (1) controls the blue light source (11) such that blue intermittent light (B) is emitted at a fixed frequency. Staring at the blue light source (11) thus generates visual persistence due to the blue intermittent light (B). Also provided are a blue light harm-reducing device used in combination with a polarizer (43) or a phase-adjusting device (51) and a method thereof.
