Disclosed are a note container, and a dynamic note receiving control method for the same. The note container comprises a casing (10), a note incoming opening (101) provided on the casing, and a counter sensor (111) at the note incoming opening (101), and a vertically movable platform (112), a note arranging mechanism, a position sensor (115), and a controller are provided in the casing (10). Upon detection of the number of notes reaching a predetermined value, and the note arranging mechanism pressing against notes on the vertically movable platform (112), the controller determines whether a position of the notes on the vertically movable platform (112) reaches a predetermined position. If so, then the vertically movable platform (112) is controlled to lower by a predetermined distance; and if not, the vertically movable platform (112) is kept at the same position. The present invention controls a note receiving space to be within a reasonable range when the number of notes reaches a predetermined value and an actual height of a note pile in the note container reaches a predetermined height, thus preventing received notes from being misplaced or folded at a corner.
