Disclosed is a bed body tilting device, comprising: a supporting base (100), a hoisting push rod (200), a bed body (300), a main controller (400) and an interaction module (500), wherein the supporting base (100) is connected to the hoisting push rod (200); the hoisting push rod (200) is connected to one end of the bed body (300); a central shaft (310) is arranged in the centre of the bed body (300); the bed body (300) is tilted around the central shaft (310); the main controller (400) is connected to the hoisting push rod (200), and is used for controlling the hoisting of the hoisting push rod (200) and calculating a tilting angle of the bed body (300) according to a stroke of the hoisting push rod (200); and the interaction module (500) is connected to the main controller (400) and is used for setting the tilting angle of the bed body (300). Also provided is a control method for bed body tilting. The bed body tilting device and the control method for bed body tilting can standardize the tilting angle of the bed body (300) in the device, and the structure thereof is simple.
