A data collecting method for a voice-activated television channel switching technique and a voice-controlled television. The method comprises: recording one or more pieces of voice information and television channels matching the voice information on a one-to-one basis (S101); detecting voice information inputted by a user and determining whether there is a television channel that matches the voice information inputted by the user (S102); if not, maintaining normal use of a television (S103); if yes, switching, on the basis of the voice information inputted by the user, to the television channel that matches the voice information inputted by the user and transmitting technical usage data to a data collecting end preset by a manufacturer (S104). By matching voice information to television channels, the television is allowed to recognize the television channel of the voice information spoken by the user, thus allowing the user to indicate a desired channel simply by saying so when watching television and, at the same time, facilitating the manufacturer in collecting a use state of the related technique in a timely and effective manner.
