AUTOMATIC VEHICLE FAULT DETECTION METHOD AND DETECTION SYSTEM

An automatic vehicle fault detection method and detection system. The method comprises: recording information about a connection between one or more mobile phones and an electronic control unit (ECU); when a vehicle is travelling, counting vehicle travelling data; determining whether the mobile phone of a user is connected to the electronic control unit (ECU); if not, remaining unchanged; and if so, uploading the vehicle travelling data to the mobile phone, and detecting the vehicle condition. According to the method and the detection system, by recording vehicle travelling data, and automatically analysing the vehicle condition, the vehicle fault can be predicted in advance, thereby preventing personal property from being subject to damage caused by expansion of the vehicle fault.
