A method for calculating the support rate for players in a tennis match, said method comprising the following steps: sending, by means of an on-site Wi-Fi, a support rate statistics message to fans (101); receiving response messages responding to the statistics message that are returned by the fans by means of the Wi-Fi (102); and calculating, according to the response messages, the player support rates (103). The technical solution provided by said method has the advantage of calculating the support rates based on fans on-site.
