APPLICATION BANDWIDTH CONFIGURATION METHOD AND CONTROLLER BASED ON SOFTWARE-DEFINED NETWORKING

The present invention provides an application bandwidth configuration method based on software-defined networking. The method comprises: a controller configures a flow control policy of an entire network; according to the flow control policy, the controller configures corresponding content of each application type; and, according to the flow control policy, the controller configures a total application assured-bandwidth percentage and a total application maximum bandwidth percentage corresponding to each application type. The present invention further provides an application bandwidth configuration controller based on software-defined networking. In this way, all configuration is performed by the controller, the application bandwidth policy is configured in a peer-to-peer manner and across an entire network, and link resources of the entire network are fully utilized so as to achieve network traffic optimization.
