A casualty rescue system and method based on an intelligent wristwatch. The method comprises the steps of: using a pulse sensor (11) for detecting and counting a pulse of a radial artery of a casualty; if the number of pulses of the radial artery of the casualty is higher than a preset number, then assigning a level 1 emergency rescue priority to the casualty; use a blood pressure sensor (12) to monitor a blood pressure of the casualty; if the number of pulses and a systolic blood pressure of the casualty are both zero, then assigning a level 4 emergency rescue priority to the casualty; if the systolic blood pressure is less than a preset systolic pressure, then using a blood oxygen sensor (14) to measure a blood oxygen saturation level of the casualty, and if the blood oxygen saturation level of the casualty is less than a preset value, then assigning the level 1 emergency rescue priority to the casualty; using an acceleration sensor (16) to measure a mobility of the casualty and assigning, when the casualty walks upright, a level 3 emergency rescue priority to the casualty; if the casualty has fallen and their arm is capable of movement, then assigning a level 2 emergency rescue priority to the casualty; and sending, by using a communication unit, the emergency rescue priority level to a rear emergency rescue command center. The system and method can, by using the intelligent wrist watch, achieve real-time monitoring and automatic assessment of a state of injury sustained by a casualty and assign an emergency rescue priority level for the casualty.
