Provided is a spinal column alignment assessment apparatus that can assess the turning angle and/or the Cobb angle of a spinal column alignment present inside a human body from an image showing a three-dimensional morphology of the surface of the human body, that makes it easy to diagnose scoliosis by a doctor, check the spinal column by an assessor, and the like, and that can reduce medical exposure due to unnecessary X-ray examinations. The present invention is provided with: an image acquisition unit (11) for acquiring an image showing a three-dimensional morphology of the surface of a human body; a spinal column alignment assessment unit (12) for assessing a spinal column alignment of the human body by using accumulated data; and an angle calculation unit (13) for calculating the turning angle and/or the Cobb angle from the assessed spinal column alignment.
