METHOD OF ASSIGNING APPLICATION TO ASSIGNED SERVICE CLUSTER AND DEVICE

The application provides a method of assigning an application to an assigned service cluster and a device. The method comprises: assigning a plurality of applications to a plurality of service clusters to obtain an initial assignment resu changing, for multiple numbers of times, the service clusters assigned for the applications to obtain a plurality of additional assignment results; computing, with respect to the initial assignment result and the additional assignment results, resource consumption amounts for the service clusters; and selecting an assignment result that consumes the smallest consumption amount as the optimal assignment result. The application increases efficiency of assigning applications to assigned service clusters, while ensuring that the obtained assignment can effectively save resource consumption costs of the service clusters.
