An electrically-responsive smart glass, a preparation method therefor, and a light regulation method thereof. The smart glass comprises two light-transmissive substrates arranged opposite to each other, a power supply assembly, and a regulation region filled between the two light-transmissive substrates. The regulation region is filled with a liquid crystal mixture (8). The liquid crystal mixture (8) comprises a dye liquid crystal (4), a negative liquid crystal (5), and infrared reflective film fragments (6). The two light-transmissive substrates are electrically connected to the two poles of the power supply assembly, respectively. When the light-transmissive substrates are in an OFF state, the dye liquid crystal (4), the negative liquid crystal (5), and the infrared reflective film fragments (6) are arranged perpendicular to the light-transmissive substrates in single-domain fashion, and are transmissive to visible light and infrared light. When the light-transmissive substrates are in an ON state, the dye liquid crystal (4), the negative liquid crystal (5), and the infrared reflective film fragments (6) are arranged parallel to the light-transmissive substrates in multi-domain fashion, and can absorb and scatter part of visible light and reflect part of infrared light.
