The invention relates to a method for the installation of a multi-layer safety flooring for playgrounds, comprising the following steps: preparing the surface; positioning an anchoring means to delimit the installation surface of the flooring, and positioning a conductive metal element thereon in contact with the ground; filling with gravel; positioning an elastic base; positioning a geo-textile layer; positioning a metal mesh; securing the metal mesh; applying glue to the internal face of the artificial turf panels to be installed; and positioning the artificial turf panels on the metal mesh. The metal mesh is in direct contact with the metal element, permitting the conduction of the electrostatic electricity accumulated in the artificial turf layer via friction to the conductive metal element, diverting the electricity to the ground.
