Provided are: a gas barrier film which has high barrier properties, while being suppressed in moisture discharge from the inside; and an organic electronic device, especially an organic electroluminescent device in which an organic electronic element is not susceptible to deterioration. This gas barrier film sequentially comprises a film base, a first inorganic layer and a first organic layer in this order; the first inorganic layer and the first organic layer are in direct contact with each other; the first organic layer is a layer that is obtained by curing a composition containing a (meth)acrylate and a silane coupling agent; the (meth)acrylate has a CLogP of 4.0 or more; and the silane coupling agent has a (meth)acryloyl group, while having a volatilization amount of less than 5.0% at 105°C. This substrate for organic electroluminescent devices, this organic electroluminescent device and this organic electronic device comprise the above-described gas barrier film.
