According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for providing a secure storage based on iris recognition may include: a step of receiving iris authentication data of a user from an iris recognizer connected to an apparatus for providing a secured storage to be detachable; a step of performing user authentication for the security storage by using the iris authentication data; and a step of allowing access for the security storage only when the user authentication is succeeded.
