The present invention relates to a method for removing highly-concentrated arsenic from mine tailings by using sulfur-oxidizing bacteria, which can provide optimal culturing conditions. Provided is the method for removing highly-concentrated arsenic from mine tailings by using sulfur-oxidizing bacteria, the method comprising the steps of: preparing mine tailings containing arsenic; producing pulp by mixing the mine tailings with a culture fluid for growth of sulfur-oxidizing bacteria; inoculating the pulp with Acidithiobacillus thiooxidans, i.e., cultures for sulfur-oxidizing bacteria, and culturing the sulfur-oxidizing bacteria; and leaching the arsenic from the mine tailings containing the arsenic.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
