The present invention relates to a system and a method for tracking an entrance and an exit of a moving object with respect to a rectangular spatial entity based on longitude and latitude coordinates, which are capable of tracking a dynamic position movement of a moving object through a calculation by displaying a region and a gate of special entities to be tracked in a rectangular shape and storing the region and the gate. The system for tracking an entrance and an exit of a moving object with respect to a rectangular spatial entity based on longitude and latitude coordinates comprises: a spatial entity region setting unit which inputs longitude and latitude coordinates of each of vertices in a spatial entity to be tracked and sets a spatial entity region; a spatial entity coordinate management unit which stores and manages the longitude and latitude coordinates for setting the spatial entity, which are inputted by the spatial entity region setting unit; a moving object coordinate reception unit which receives longitude and latitude coordinates of a moving object; a moving object coordinate management unit which stores and manages the longitude and latitude coordinates of the moving object received from the moving object coordinate reception unit; a moving object movement direction determination unit which determines a movement direction of the moving object comparing previous longitude and latitude coordinates of the moving object with current longitude and latitude coordinates of the moving object received from the moving object coordinate reception unit; and a moving object position determination unit which determines a current position of the moving object by comparing the received current longitude and latitude coordinates of the moving object with the set longitude and latitude coordinates of each of the vertices in the spatial entity.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
