A method for implementing a ship material data structure into XML according to a shipdex protocol according to an aspect of the present invention includes the steps of: implementing an operation and description data module including information about the operation and description of equipment; implementing a maintenance procedure module including the maintenance information of the equipment; implementing a troubleshooting module including the troubleshooting information of the equipment; implementing an illustrated parts data module including information about parts comprising a product; and implementing a service data module including correction and modification information.
