Disclosed are an emotion matching module correctly analyzing input sound to perform matching for controlling lighting, and an emotional lighting system having the same. The emotion matching module related to an apparatus for controlling a light emitting diode (LED) lighting module comprises: an audio analysis unit analyzing an audio signal provided from an audio input unit to output frequency information; an audio emotion database unit to store frequency matching information matched with one of a plurality of emotions according to a frequency band; an emotion information extraction unit using the frequency matching information provided from the audio emotion database unit to determine whether the frequency information provided from the audio analysis unit is matched with which one of the emotions and output the emotion information matched with the frequency information; a color emotion database unit to store color matching information between the emotion and color; and a color information extraction unit using the color matching information provided from the color emotion database unit to determine when the emotion information provided from the emotion information extraction unit is matched with which color, and output color information matched with the emotion information and controlling lighting color of the LED lighting module.
