Disclosed is a sewage and wastewater treatment apparatus. The disclosed sewage and wastewater treatment apparatus comprises: a precipitation tank which separates sewage and wastewater into precipitates and treated water; an electrolysis device which generates oxygen and hydrogen by electrolyzing at least part of the treated water; a concentration tank generates sludge by concentrating the precipitates; an anaerobic digestion tank which generates bio-gas by biologically decomposing the sludge in an anaerobic state; a bio-gas power generation device which generates electricity and carbon dioxide as a byproduct by burning the bio-gas; and a CO_2 reduction tank which generates methane by reducing the carbon dioxide, discharged from the bio-gas power generation device, by using the hydrogen discharged from the electrolysis device.
