Provided are a system for automatically updating the spatial data of a facility using a geo-tag module and a method thereof. The present invention can automatically update the spatial data of a facility more efficiently through geo-tagging of a geo-tag module installed in the facility if the spatial data of the facility is changed and prevent unnecessary manual data input. Also, as a facility spatial data management server receives the geo-tagging spatial data from the geo-tag module in real time, updates the spatial data of the facility automatically, and updates the changes onto an electronic map automatically, the present invention allows the changes to be applied immediately in a facility spatial data link server such as an electronic map server, a GIS server, and a spatial data server which uses the spatial data of various facilities.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
