METHOD FOR DISCRIMINATING YOUNG ABALONE SPECIES BY USING CALMODULIN INTRON POLYMORPHISM AND RESTRICTION ENZYMES

The present invention provides a method for discriminating young abalone species by using calmodulin intron genes and restriction enzymes. The method comprises the steps: (A) obtaining abalones; (B) separating genomic DNA of the abalones obtained from step (A); (C) performing PCR on the separated genomic DNA of the abalones from step (B) by using a third primer of abalone calmodulin intron III; and (D) secondly discriminating species of abalones through a result of dielectrolysis by treating a PCR product of step (C) by restriction enzymes. Species of Haliotis discus hannai, Haliotis discus discus, Haliotis madaka, and Haliotis gigantean are discriminated in a young stage, so Haliotis discus hannai, Haliotis discus discus, Haliotis madaka, and Haliotis gigantean can be suitably and effectively cultivated according to species.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2016
