The present invention relates to an ultraminiature broad band balun having a simple structure using a concentrated element to allow output of a balance signal having a predetermined phase difference with respect to a broad band signal and a broad band dipole antenna having a small size and allowing transmission and reception of a broad band signal by using the broad band balun. According to the present invention, the broad band dipole antenna comprises: an emitter having a dipole-shape and transmitting or receiving a signal to or from the air; and a broad band balun distributing input power with a phase difference at 180 degrees to be provided to the emitter. The broad band balun comprises: a signal distributor distributing input signals to be output through paths different from each other; and a phase shifter connected to output ends of the signal distributor, which are different from each other, and converts a radio frequency (RF) signal provided from the signal distributor into a balanced signal maintaining a predetermined phase difference to be output. The phase shifter comprises: an inductor connected to a first output end of the signal distributor in series; and a plurality of unit cells connected in series, the unit cells having a low band passing filter structure having a capacitor connected to the inductor in parallel. A second phase transmission line comprises: a capacitor connected to a second output end of the signal distributor in series; and a plurality of unit cells connected in series, the unit cells having a high band passing filter structure having an inductor connected to the capacitor in parallel.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
