PURPOSE: A terminal for content centric network and method of communication for a terminal and an herb in content centric network are provided to avoid an unnecessary packet transmission during a handover of a mobile terminal in the transmission structure based on a CCN(Content Centric Network).;CONSTITUTION: A requesting unit(920) requests transmission stop about an interest message before the handover related to the content to a herb to stop a data message related to the content to a face before the handover if the handover is generated.
