SFF-SF Method for link configuration between SFF and SF for ensuring stability of service function chaining

Disclosed is a method for configuring a link between a service function forwarder (SFF) and a service function to ensure stability of service function chaining (SFC). The method comprises the following steps of: determining SFs required for a service based on information about a service to be provided; collecting information about a type of each SF required for the service; collecting information about performance of SFFs connected to the SFs required for the service; and determining a service function path (SFP) for the service based on the information about the type of each SF required for the service and the information about the performance of the SFFs connected to the SFs required for the service. Thus, link stability between the SFF and the SF is ensured, stability of traffic transfer in an SFC domain can be enhanced, and stability of whole network traffic transfer can be also enhanced.
