The present invention relates to a sonosensitizer composition comprising titanium oxide nanoparticles as active components, a composition comprising the same for preventing or treating cancer, and to a preparation method thereof. According to the present invention, the sonosensitizer composition can resolve a problem of using a conventional photosensitizer using light only in the case of having reachable light, and allows the amount of a sonosensitizer accumulating inside cancer cells to reach the maximum within a short period of time, thereby reducing duration of a treatment. Also, the sonosensitizer composition has stability friendly to human bodies, thereby effectively being useful for cancer treatment.
