The present invention relates to a digital photo frame and a method for displaying the image of a digital photo frame. The digital photo frame according to an embodiment of the present invention detects a part covered by a frame through an optical sensing part, sets a display region only as an effective region covered by the frame, and resizes an image to fit the effective region of the display and displays the image. Accordingly, even if the size of the frame is changed, adaptive image resizing is performed so that a phenomenon in which a part of the image is not displayed by the frame can be prevented.
