SAR ADC Semiconductor device comprising Successive Approximation Register Analog to Digital Converter and Integrator

Provided are a semiconductor device and a method for operating the same. The semiconductor device comprises: an integrator which, in a first operation mode, receives a signal by using a capacitor module, including one or more capacitors, and generates a first analog signal; a successive approximation register analog-to-digital converter (SAR ADC) which, in a second operation mode, receives the first analog signal, converts the first analog signal into a first digital signal by using the capacitor module, and generates a first residue signal; and a residue capacitor which is connected to the capacitor module in parallel, which receives the first residue signal from the SAR ADC in the second operation mode, and which provides the first residue signal to the integrator in the first operation mode.
