The present invention provides a membrane cleaning apparatus capable of generating huge bubbles for sewage treatment, which is submerged into a tank and cleans membrane surfaces of the membrane cleaning apparatus by discharging huge bubbles. The membrane cleaning apparatus capable of generating huge bubbles for sewage treatment comprises: a bubble generation unit which discharges bubbles; a housing in which a lower front surface thereof is open to prevent sludge from being accumulated in a tank, bubbles are introduced into a lower portion thereof, an upper portion and side surfaces thereof are closed, a capture space configured to capture bubbles introduced thereinto is formed, and an outlet configured to communicate with the capture space is formed in one side of an upper portion thereof; and guide partitions which are installed inside the capture space, and which allow huge bubbles to be intermittently discharged via the outlet when the bubbles of the capture space are captured and the huge bubbles are generated. Accordingly, since the membrane cleaning apparatus is configured to be separate from a membrane bioreactor, the membrane cleaning apparatus can be compatibly installed for various membrane bioreactors, a range of application can be expanded, and a manufacturing cost can be reduced compared to that for a conventional apparatus integrated with a membrane bioreactor.
