Provided are a certificate based on biometric information, a certificate apparatus using the same, and an electronic signature method using the same. The electronic signature method comprises the steps of: generating a pair of RSA keys according to a previous certificate issuance process; generating a secret key AES-256; generating a template by recognizing biometric information, and extracting a feature point; and encrypting a biometric template with a generated RSA public key, and encrypting the biometric template with the AES; and generating a certificate by transferring the public key and the doubly-encrypted biometric information template to a CA.
