The present invention relates to a data managing system for managing offshore construction on-site installation work and a method thereof. The data managing system for managing an offshore construction on-site installation work comprises: at least one client processing any one among registration, modification, and deletion of work data; a local server connected to each client through a wired network and collecting process data treated in each client; a local network provided at a site in which each large offshore structure is installed; a local central server connected to the local server through a wireless network, collecting treatment work data from each local server, and synchronizing the selected process data with data of a domestic central server; and a domestic central server connected to the local central server through a satellite communication network and storing work data transmitted from the local central server. Therefore, the data managing system for managing offshore construction on-site installation work, and the method thereof can easily recognize progress and material supply state, can reduce delay of work at the site, and can localize and back-up schedules and directions.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
