The present invention relates to an apparatus for providing absorbent article replacement timing notification and a notification method using the same. According to the present invention, a conductive sensing wire is energized by moisture in excreta or a body fluid absorbed by an absorbent article, whether the absorbent article is wet or not is automatically sensed, and then the absorbent article replacement timing notification is provided. The sensor is not harmful to a user and has a relatively simple structure contributing to manufacturing cost reduction. Once the apparatus for providing the absorbent article replacement timing notification according to the present invention is applied to the absorbent article, which is worn at all times by critical patients with reduced mobility, brain-dead patients, and senior citizens with dementia, whether the absorbent article is wet or not can be sensed in real time and notification concerning whether replacement is required or not can be provided by means of a wireless signal by a nurse, a caregiver, or a guardian. Accordingly, the absorbent article can be replaced quickly and accurately, which contributes to the health of the patients including the senior citizens.
