The present invention discloses a liquid crystal display device and a semiconductor nanocrystal-polymer composite. The liquid crystal display device comprises: an LED light source; a liquid crystal panel; and a light conversion layer installed to be spaced apart from the LED light source. The light conversion layer includes a semiconductor nanocrystal and a polymer, and the semiconductor nanocrystal converts light incident from the LED light source to light of a different color. The polymer includes a first polymer selected from the group consisting of polyacrylic acid; polymethacrylic acid; a polymer containing a carboxyl group (-COOH) or a salt thereof (-COOM, wherein M is a monovalent metal cation); and a polymer containing a carboxylate anion group (-COO^-) and a modified polymer containing a metal cation bonded to the carboxylate anion group (wherein the metal cation means a metal cation of greater than or equal to bivalence), and a second polymer selected from the group consisting of a polyolefin; cyclic olefin polymer (COP); polyacrylic acid; polymethacrylic acid; a polymer containing a carboxyl group (-COOH) or a salt thereof (-COOM, wherein M is a monovalent metal cation); and a polymer containing a carboxylate anion group (-COO^-) and a modified polymer containing a metal cation bonded to the carboxylate anion group (wherein the metal cation means a metal cation of greater than or equal to bivalence).
