The present invention relates to a welding deformation prevention method of applying horizontal automatic welding in a block mounting process and a structure thereof. According to an existing method, welding deformation is caused by stringer fillet welding, frame vertical welding, and so on such that horizontal automatic welding is performed on the outside after correction with back heating and then deformation corrected again by the horizontal automatic welding. An outer plate side-welding core is manufactured to be a welding core for the horizontal automatic welding in a location close to a T-bar of a lower block. A separation wall in a vertical direction has a welding core set in a location at a distance for banding. After an inner frame is tack welded, the horizontal automatic welding is performed on the outside and then a main welding of the frame is performed to prevent welding deformation. Frame welding sets an inclined welding core through an access hole. Reverse deformation is applied to prevent deformation of a banding portion caused by the stringer fillet welding; thus preventing welding deformation. Accordingly, a plurality of back heating times are reduced, and additional work times for a re-painting process, foothold installation distillation processes, and so on are reduced; and at the same time, productivity being able to be increased by applying the horizontal automatic welding.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
