The present invention relates to latex for dip molding comprising a conjugated diene monomer, ethylenically unsaturated nitrile monomer and an ethylenically unsaturated acid monomer. The latex for dip molding further comprises sodium styrene sulfonate as a copolymerizable ionic monomer. Thus, it is possible to use a smaller amount of emulsifier when the latex is produced according to the present invention. Even though a smaller amount of emulsifier is used, there are no problems during production, such as increased agglomeration or adhesion of agglomerates to a reactor. In addition, the latex for dip molding has excellent tensile strength and a low nonvolatile residue (NVR). The present invention also relates to a composition for dip molding, a method for producing a dip molded article and a dip molded article obtained by the method.
