The present invention provides a method for producing high quality seeds of watermelon and a method for promoting the germination rate and germination speed of watermelon seeds. The germination rate and germination speed are increased by adjusting the number of days for aging or after-ripening of watermelon, thereby producing high quality seeds of watermelon with improved activity of seeds and seedlings. Additionally, watermelon seeds which are physiologically and morphologically ripe can be obtained, and the method of the present invention can be economically used by easily producing the high quality seeds of watermelon while reducing the time and costs.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
