PLC debugging method of programmable logic controller which uses general purpose microprocessor

Provided is a debugging method of a PLC using a general purpose processor, which includes the steps of: enabling an MPU of the PLC to back up file information and identification information of a stop step among steps included in a user program in a data storage unit and to set the stop step for debugging by replacing an exception interrupt code in a compile code area of the corresponding stop step; and enabling the MPU to stop a PLC operation in the step with the exception interrupt code while executing the user program by step in the PLC operation. Accordingly, the present invention can simplify the debugging processing of the PLC and improve performance.
