Disclosed is a vessel operating in ice-covered waters equipped with a winterization and auxiliary power system using a fuel cell. The winterization and auxiliary power system for a vessel operating in ice-covered waters according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: an exhaust gas injection pipe through which high-temperature exhaust gas discharged from a main engine is passed; an economizer connected to the exhaust gas injection pipe to collect waste heat of the exhaust gas; a fuel cell which generates electricity and heat by reacting air with methane; a battery which is charged with the electricity generated by the fuel to be used as a power source in an emergency; a first supply pipe connected between a winterization device and the economizer to supply the waste heat collected by the economizer to the winterization device; and a second supply pipe connected between the winterization device and the fuel cell to supply the heat generated by the fuel cell to the winterization device.
