The present invention relates to a method for regulating differentiation of stem cells through epigenetic modification of CpG island (intragenic CGI) in genetic structures. More specifically, the present invention relates tot a method for regulating differentiation of stem cells through regulation of DNA methylation on CGI in genetic structures, method for detecting differentiation ability of stem cells, a method for screening drugs for regulating differentiation of stem cells, and a kit for detecting differentiation of stem cells.
