METHOD FOR DETERMINING ANGELICA GIGAS AND ANGELICA ACUTILOBA USING RANDOM AMPLIFIED POLYMORPHIC DNA PRIMER

The present invention relates to a method for determining Angelica gigas by random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) analysis and a primer used in the method and, more specifically, to a RAPD primer having a specific base sequence selected from the group consisting SEQ ID NO: 1 to SEQ ID NO: 5, and a method for detecting DNA polymorphism of Angelica gigas and a method for determining Angelica gigas comprising a step of performing polymerase chain reaction (PCR) using the same. According to the present invention, the RAPD primer for determining Angelica gigas can be very usefully utilized for generating DNA profiles of Angelica gigas by effectively detecting DNA polymorphism of Angelica gigas. As a result, the genetic resources of Angelica gigas are efficiently evaluated to effectively perform the redundancy analysis and establishment of novelty with existing resources when introducing new genetic resources, thereby determining the variety of Angelica gigas. In addition, native varieties (lineages) scattered in Korea can be clearly identified and unnamed varieties can be registered as new varieties to protect valuable genetic resources.
